Not only are FC&E’s staff experts with permitting and compliance assistance but we have some of the most experienced staff in the industry when it comes to releases and spills. Our team can evaluate sites for spill risk and reduction strategies but if spills do occur we have the experience to aid in recovery. Many times, small missteps early on in an accident or release can lead to large expenses. Our team has experience in all types of releases including those subject to Natural Resource Damage Assessments (NRDA) under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA). At this site, FC&E aided the client in a NRDA while at the same time evaluating for wetlands to aid in the removal of crude oil and drilling muds.
